Join Pelagic for the May Public Meeting. The guest speaker will be Jean Kerr who will talk about provisioning, dos and don'ts of cooking aboard, and how to create great simple dishes in your galley.  

Event Logistics:

This event will be offered both in-person at Savin Hill Yacht Club and virtually on Zoom. (Please choose one when you register.) 

 In-person attendees: Doors open at 6:00 pm. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm. 

Note:  In-person attendees may optionally purchase a ticket for a chef's tasting. The menu includes two seafood chowders, salad and hard tack.  Tickets are $10 per person, CASH ONLY at the door.

Virtual attendees: The Zoom link is in the confirmation email for your registration. (Please check your SPAM folder!) The Zoom opens at 6:30 pm for informal chat. The event begins at 7:00 pm.


About the Speaker:

Jean Kerr was the founder and former Editor-in-Chief of Northeast Flavor magazine which was named one of the top ten new magazines in the country in its first year of publication. Jean is the author of four cookbooks, including The Union Oyster House Cookbook and Mystic Seafood, and a two-time Book of the Year nominee. Her food writing has appeared in numerous publications including Yankee, Cruising World, Down East Coastal Design and Points East. She has been “messing about in boats” since she was 6 and has cruised the New England coast for more than 30 years. She is also an experienced caterer and personal chef.
