His very popular novel “The Finest Hours” was recently released as a Disney movie.

Tougias has also written novels such as “Rescue of the Bounty” which is the Tall Ship that was featured in the movie “Mutiny on the Bounty”.

Some Pelagic members recall seeing the Bounty in Gloucester just weeks before she met her tragic end in Superstorm Sandy.

Tougias always is fascinating and will get you scared and excited at the same time.
